ABOUT USA Brief HistoryBlack Lion Property Services was established in 2001 by husband and wife partners Sakir and Bridget Karaaslan. Sakir Karaaslan has practiced business in Kalkan since 1989 and is well connected in the town. Bridget Karaaslan graduated from Aston University England in 1992 with BSc in International Business and Modern Languages and following a career with ICI, and Wolsey Group Plc in sales, marketing and international product management, moved to Kalkan in 2001. 
Black Lion was formed in recognition of the need for a more professional estate agency, adept to catering for the specific needs of foreign buyers in the Kalkan area. Over the 6 years Black Lion has been operating, the Company has established a reputation for professional service, business ethics, and a comprehensive range of customer services. Black Lion was the first estate agency in Kalkan to be accepted as members of the NAEA Overseas (Formerly FOPDAC) and we are additionally members of the Turkish British Chamber of Commerce (TBCCI)

However by 2005 the management business had grown too large such that it was split into a separate business "Kalkan Property Services"(KPS). Black Lion maintains strong links with KPS to ensure that buyers have a trouble free transition into property ownership and get full marketing support from both companies if they decide to rent their property through our websites 2blacklions.com, kalkanpropertyservices.com and kalkanholidays.com. Design & ConstructionFrom 2001 Black Lion has worked as project managers with a number of architects to deliver bespoke designed and constructed properties. In 2008 Black Lion started to use their expertise to construct property for sale with their Kalkan Park Villa development of three bedroom villas with stunning views over Kalkan Bay. Black Lion also offers consultancy services for developers. Marketing and Public RelationsOn behalf of property sellers, Black Lion is firmly committed to providing quality and up to date sales information through the web site, as well as by promoting through relevant advertising, editorial, and property exhibitions channels. In 2004 Black Lion filmed with Channel 4's "A Place in the Sun!"
